HOW DO I CONCEIVE TEACHING EFL?

well at the beggining think about teaching was really difficult for me because I did this before and it was not a great experience, during this semester I learned that teaching is more than be a facilitatator of some informtion, is something that you are changing the world every day because you have to be teacher, friend, father, mother, brother, sister, etc at the same time, sometimes you notice that your students need more than a person who is teaching something, they need to feel comfortable with the person who is in front of them, I learned that teaching is a very nice experience and you have to enjoy it every day.

WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE TEACHER IN A EFL CLASSROOM?

from my point of view the role of the teacher into the classrrom is a facilitator, explainer,and organizer. teacher has to be someone who facilitate things into the classroom, is the person who guide activities, and explain thing that students do not know, according to Hammer's  Teachers roles framewor teacher has some characteristics that help students in class:


Controller :The teacher takes charge of the whole class and activities by taking the roll, 
telling students instructions, organizing drills, reading aloud, and 
manifesting the teacher-fronted approach.

Assessor Provides students with feedback regarding their performance and grades 
them in distinct ways. 

Corrector Offers students correction of their linguistic errors while assessing their 
language learning competence. 


Participant Participates in students’ classroom activities. 

Tutor Works with students individually or in small groups if they undertake 
challenging learning programs
. 
Observer Observes students’ performance to offer them individual/group feedback.

what is the role of the students?

the role of the student is to be a collaborator because they have to be someone who wants to learn all the time and collaborate with the teacher when he or she is doing any activity that helps them to improve their learning, if they take a bad attitud toward things that have to be develop in class, they loose the opportunity to be someone who wants to learn new things every day, so students have to be the principal persons interested in learn new things from their teachers.


WHAT ARE MY EXPECTATIONS OF AN EFL CLASSRROM?


My expectation from an EFL classroom is to learn new things every day, every single practice helped me to consider  the posibility to dedicate my life teaching English, this type of experiences is something that is really important to take in account because you can change the way in which you think something is.
