last practice 3rd period

This was my last practicum of this term, I feel really good finishing my practice with basic level. it was so difficult to me because i had to work and study at the same time, but I alwys tried to do my best in each class. I began my class doing an activity named hang man, because I needed to know if my students learned the verbs in past that we studied a class before, I spent some time doing  this and after that I gave then a brief explanation about comparatives and superlatives using past tense, I brought a chart with some rules and some examples of the topic. I did an activity in which I showed them some flascards, and they had to gave me some examples using the comparative and superlative form, this activity was funny because they had to named the person who were on the pictures that I showed, and they used unusual names. After that they had to work in  groups of four the activity consisted in that they had to compare some places from el salvador and give and explanation why they did the comparison between the palces. My experience this term was really great, I met new people and I learned new things from  them, it was nice to remember the time when I was in my first year of my career and is really important to know that time flies very quickly, and we can not loose the opportunities that life gives us. I finished my class telling my students that it was great to be with them, and I encouraged them to do things better every day because one day they will be in the same place I were this term.               

This was my second practicum of the third period, many things happened this day and I learned through the experiences that I faced. I began my class asking my students some verbs in past, when I asked them the past of some irregular verbs I noticed that most of them had problems when they tried to told me the past of some irregular verbs. At the begining I felt frustrated because I prepared many activities in which they have to use regular and irregular verbs in past tense, I had to take action when I saw the situation because you as a teacher have to show condidence to your students, for that reason I decided to write a list of common verbs on the board in present tense, and i started to asking the past tense of those verbs, I spent time doing this but it helped me and helped them because they did the practice that i brought easily. I learned that we are the only support that students have in the classroom, And no matter how much time you spend explaining something, because I remenbered when I was in my first year of the career that my teachers helped me a lot when I did not understand something about any topic. When I saw that students did the practice without problems I felt better, I checked their responses and we repeat the sentences together. I finished my second practice doing a role play in wich they had yo use verbs studied in class.

well, I would like to share my experience of this period in basic level, it was kind difficult for me to begin the class, because students did not want to participate in my class, I was talking about wh questions in past tense, I tried to explain some patterns and some rules, but they did not understand anything!!!! in this moment I felt bad and frustrated about it, but I knew that I had to do something. I gave them an activity, believe a simple activity and I noticed that they did not understand, so I had to apply a new plan, I began again explaining step by step things that I already explained, I used many examples, and I tried to include every single students when I did the examples, something that happened in the class is that some students did not know verbs in past tense, I asked them the past of some regular and some irregular verbs, and the verbs that I used were very simple, I used verbs like play, dance, bring, teach, and I thougth that they already knew the past of this verbs, this problem made my class really difficult, because I spent more time doing activities that I did not plan, but it was a good experience for me, because I faced problems that teachers face every day, when students do not understand what you are explaining, you have to stop and explain again for the ones that have problems. The role of the teachers is really difficult, and is more complicated when you have crowded groups, because you have to carry the whole group at the same rhytm, I learned new ways to manage the students in this class because I had some problems that I did not face before.

In my second class with the guys from intermediate level, I felt more comfortable with them, students showed me respect and , they participate in every single activity, I began my class telling them their names in orderto show them that I remember each name, I tried to memorize the names because I think is really important to call them by their names, after that we did a listening and comprenhension activity, they did it well and they shared their responses, I made an activity in with they have to present a book and they had to give reason why they recommend thehat book, they had to tell the tittle, the author,  and a brief explanation about the book, I developed this activity because I need to know the way in which they express their ideas in public, I continued with my class and I did explain something about the uses of the words "hope, believe, guess " they did another activity that was in the book using these words. I finish my class telling them about the topic of passive and active voice, because it was the class that the teacher have to develop in his next class. 

MY FIRST TEACHING PRACTICUM IN INTERMEDIATE ENGLISH II

first of all, I would to tell you that I was really nervous about this group, because they are more boys than girls,and this causes me felt nervous, when I was in my observation class, I notice that the group has just 8 students, and this was a challenge for me because the class have to be more personalized. Something really nice was to notice that they speak in English all the time! they like to ask many questions and they participate all the time!! When I started my class I introduced myself, they wanted to know everything about me, and started to asked me many questions about the career, after that they introduce theirselves, and I tried to remember all of their names in order to call them by their names. The group is really nice, they like to do many activities and they like to write a lot, I developed my class doing many activities and I felt really confortable with the group. I brought a chart with some activities and some explanations about causative verbs. I finished with my class on time and I hope to get a good feedbach from my tutor.

well guys, I want to share with you my last experience in basic level, it was really nice to be in the classroom, I told my students that this day was my last class with them, and I encourage the student to do their best because one day, they will be in the same place that I was, these group of students was reallly nice with me, they did every activity that I developed in class. I feel really happy, because this experience helped me a lot. I noticed how capable I am to do good thing for my students and I will try to do my best every day. This last class I developed some good activities in order to incorporate all of them, they look so enthusiatic, and they did the activities very well,  I brought some candies for them in order to say good bye! SECOND TEACHING PRACTICUM

Well, in my second teaching practice I felt more confident with my students, I tried to remember all of their names because it was something really nice to called them by their names, I thought that working in groups it will be something very difficult, because I saw the group really divided, I did my warm up doing a group work, I used vocabulary learned in the previous lessons in order to check if they remember those words, students did a good job, all of them tried to work together and this made me feel so confortable. I continued teaching and I did not feel nervous. something that I enjoyed the most is doing many activities, they practiced their speaking in front of their classmates  and they shared their ideas, I hope that my third class will be better than the previous ones and  I am going to do my best!
